Snack your Way with Jelly Linzer Sandwiches #SNACKATION

In a previous post, I told you all about the preparations we made to get ready for our Montreal road trip. I stopped at Walmart to stock up on our snacks. Thanks to Smuckers Strawberry jam and Concord Grape Jelly, the  Jelly Linzer Sandwiches I made was a total hit on the road! Kids and hubby loved the savory flavor of strawberry and grape on bread. The yummy JIF peanut butter was just the icing on the cake!

Road Trip+ Snackation=FUN

And it goes without saying, Smuckers Jelly Linzer sandwiches  saved me from dealing with bored kids and their hungry tummies for several miles. That was great! So as promised before, take a look at the recipe below and make a batch for your ultimate snackation experience.

Be sure to cut the circles as close together as possible. You should be able to make 2 to 3 pieces per slice.

Using the leftover bread, remove the star cookie cutter and cut out as many stars as you can.

Starting with the bread, begin to layer the bread and apple stars onto a toothpick. Do not add spread to the last bread star.

Using the bread and apple star cutouts, apply a very small amount of peanut butter and then strawberry jam or grape jelly to each bread star.

That’s it! Serve and enjoy your peanut butter and jelly linzer sandwiches and kabobs!
