Change for Kids- Unlimited Hope for kids with disabilites

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation is Canada’s  largest children’s rehabilitation teaching hospital.

This Foundation leads in care, research and education for kids with disabilities and also their families on a global scale. Affiliated with University of Toronto, this world class teaching Hospital trains future health care professionals in the field of childhood disability. Holland Bloorview is situated in midtown Toronto and has close to 550 inpatient admissions and 56,000 outpatient visits every year from all over Canada and around the world.

What is Change for Kids?

Change for Kids is a noble initiative that supports the causes of Holland Bloorview Foundation: Autism therapies and treatments , brain injury, cerebral palsy, other physical and developmental disability treatments, programs like arts, music, life skills and respite care etc-all for our children in need!

Change for Kids is about celebrating Halloween while giving your little ones the opportunity to help other kids with disabilities to realize their potential.

How does this work?

Change for Kids coin cards can be purchased online at or at any of the participating retail locations like Rexall™ Pharma Plus®, Husky, Spirit Halloween stores etc. Each card costs $5 and contains 20 coins. The coins are then handed out to trick-or-treaters on Halloween. Each time a kid enters a PIN code from a coin, Scotiabank donates $5 to Holland Bloorview. That means every coin card is worth $100! It gets better, every time a kid enters a PIN code, they are also entered into a draw to win prizes, which include  prizes like $25 Toys“R”Us gift cards, one-night stays at Great Wolf Lodge at Niagara Falls, $1,000 RESPs from Scotiabank, Cineplex movie tickets, bikes from Sport Chek, and PlayStation 3 gaming consoles!

The odds of winning the grand prize  increases depending on the number of  PIN codes that are entered by your child . And the grand prize is a weekend stay at Great Wolf Lodge at Niagara Falls for 50 people valued at $20,000!

With the help of a parent or guardian, kids can enter their PIN code on the PIN Code Entry page starting November 1, 2013 for their chance to win amazing prizes. PIN code entry closes on November 17, 2013.

Change for Kids is proudly sponsored by City of Toronto, Great Wolf Lodge and Scotiabank.
